Julian Love is a guitarist and vocalist based in New York City whose soulful solo sets and incendiary guitar skills have drawn praise from outlets including Billboard and Premier Guitar. With smooth vocals and dynamic guitar work, Julian has become a mainstay in NYC and beyond. As lead guitarist for Action Bronson’s band Human Growth Hormone, he has toured the globe, performed on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert, opened for Cypress Hill, Bruce Springsteen, and Incubus (at The Hollywood Bowl), and shared the stage with Chance The Rapper and Alchemist. He has also worked with Ms. Lauryn Hill, Divinity Roxx (I’mPossible European Tour, Suriname Jazz Fest), saxophonist Myron Walden (Blue Note), and Andy Suzuki & The Method (Building Balance Tour, opening for Allen Stone and Samm Henshaw).

In the studio, Julian’s credits span major artists and media, including Action Bronson, Divinity Roxx (contributing to her 2023 Grammy-nominated album for Best Children’s Music), Netflix’s Tick, Tick… Boom! and Sesame Street (with producer Dominic Fallacaro), JoJo Siwa, Wiz Khalifa, Harry Fraud, and many others. Premier Guitar praised his work on the Action Bronson Tiny Desk vinyl—selected as one of their Top 10 Albums of 2024—writing, “These old cuts get revamped in a live-band format with funky-fresh guitarist Julian Love bringing a reinvigorated bounce, flow, and life into Bam Bam’s jelly-sweet jams.” Billboard praised him for “an ace guitar solo,” while FusioNostalgia hailed his “incredible guitar skills and soothing vocals … a soulful and mesmerizing performance.”

Beyond his work as a first-call guitarist on New York’s vibrant music scene, Julian leads the instrumental trio J3L (pronounced “jel”), blending surf, cumbia, and dance influences into groove-driven, genre-bending shows. He is also an experienced educator, having taught in both school settings and private studios, where he works with students of all levels to develop their skills and confidence.
